The New Orleans Saints are as much a culture, a lifestyle and represent a way of life as they are a football team.

It's our way. We even have fans who are not from here or have ever been here (ask members here like Cantonlegend).

Anyway, thanks for sharing this!

Re: You'll never walk alone

I was born and raised in Hammond, LA and moved to the Lexington, KY area 3 years ago. I was starting to think I was the only Saints fan in Kentucky. But, the school that my wife teaches at recently had sport jersey day and she rocked my Drew Brees #9. A student came up to her and said "I don't know who you are, but you are now my favorite teacher. The Saints are my favorite team ever!"
So, I am not alone, even if the only other Saints fan in Kentucky is a 4th grader. LOL

edit: I forgot about this, but I also used to work at a big electronics store that went out of business this year with a guy from Mandeville who goes to school at UK who is a big Saints fan. Management used to let us wear NFL jerseys on Sundays and we would both show up sporting our #9's.

"Life IS pain... Anyone who says differently is selling something."

Re: You'll never walk alone

in des moines, ia now. every once in awhile i meet a bandwagon fan but thats it. you should see the looks i get when i walk into a bar and ask them too turn the saints game on. pretty funny cause ia is divided between vikes, bears, pack, and kc pretty much. my friends don't get how i've stayed so loyal through the rough years, they just don't get that their teams just aren't as cool somehow!
