Re: Jeremy Shockey....

On board since day one. Not looking for anyone to eat crow...I'm just happy the guy is doing what he was brought here to do (and while making the NYG's eat the crow)

Re: Jeremy Shockey....

I'm with you 1976.

I was fairly disappointed with his injuries and subsequent production but I was optimistic that he'd turn it around when healthy. I'm glad he has a role and is helping the team now...he's made some unbelievable catches this year. Lets pray he stays healthy

Re: Jeremy Shockey....

I love people eating crow.

I wasnt a "hater," but I thought Shockey was just a big name with a big price, picked up to keep ticket sales brisk, but I wasnt totally buying the
negative vibe I was hearing from the Giants. I knew Payton wouldnt pick
up a "cancer."

Wow, he's not overrated at all, he's productive, he does little things, and
I love his spirit. He had some injuries, which slowed his production last year, but you know what? I dont blame people for getting hurt, and I dont understand fans who flame players for being injured.
He didnt get injured on purpose. (not directing this at anyone specific) Lets see your fat butt get out there, run your guts out, get hit by 250lb LB's and see if you dont get a little injured.

If you get hurt at your job at Walmart, do all the customers say, "oh he sucks, he's hurt?

Re: Jeremy Shockey....

Been a fan of JS since the U, I knew Shockey would be the beast that he is, hurt the 1st season and everyone was saying it was not a good trade etc. You can’t turn down a guy like him that’s full of energy and into the game and what he brings to the game. SHOCKEY = BEASTMODE!!!

Re: Jeremy Shockey....

He also gives us the WrestleMania Factor.

Remember Kevin Greene. You just couldnt believe the Steelers could
lose, because his energy was so contageous.
