me. Two jobs. In one, ratings, and surveys determine how good my kids eat. In the other I'm in the room with you, and yep, I've been boo'ed. Its been a long time, as usually I get cheers and "I love you man" treatment. But as Strato and Paul know, there are plenty of jerks. I get this:

Dumbass: "When are you gonna play something good?"
Me: (thinking, "Wow, well now I'm motivated to do something for you, a$$hole.") (but saying "What should we play that you think everybody here would like?"
Dumbass: "Duh, I dont know, just something good."
Me: "No no, I need an artist and a title." What can I play for the crowd
that everyone will enjoy as much as you?"
Dumbass: "Uhhhh... I cant think of anything... just play something..."
Me: "So give me a genre, what kind of song would we all like to hear?" (cuz, obviously, youre an expert)
Dumbass: "ooooh... um? play... S&ck My **** Motha****** B**** by Babydaddy & tha Felons"
Me: "I dont think the bride's grandma will like that."
Dumbass: "Oh yeah."
Me: "Try again."
Dumbass: "How bout Freebird?"
Me: "um, o... k... so whats your name?"
Dumbass: "huh?"
Me: "name."
Dumbass: "Skeeter"
Me: (on mic) "Ok, everyone Skeeter says you all want to hear Freebird."
Crowd: "Booooooooooo!"
Dumbass: "Oh, ok, just play whatever you think will work."
Me: "Thats why Im the DJ." (I dont come to McDonalds and tell you how to make fries.)

Dont come to me saying, "Play something good," like a douchebag. Ask for a song, and I'll do it--- but be prepared to put your name on it.

ok, that story was free. Back to the point. If you shout crap at the players, dont cry about their lack of "loyalty" when they sign with another team, and then come back and kick our a$$. Dont get mad when they say, well this is business. Yep.

There's a reason the Manning kids didnt want to play in New Orleans. Archie saw the way some of us treated Hebert--- a local guy who bled black and gold, who shed blood on the field, but was occasionally--- human. I was disappointed in some of the stuff I heard from the stands. Honestly, if it were me, I would have done a stronger gesture than "airplane arms." (In reality, he was directing that at Saints management, not us.) Nor do I blame Michael Vick for flipping off the fans who shouted stuff at him.

Dont misunderstand me. We are the greatest fans in Football. Collectively, we are the greatest fans in all of Sports. The majority of the Dome is great people, just like most of my crowd rocks, as do 98% of my brides--- who are complete DOLLS.

Its just that some of us insist on acting like monkeys. That is why there will always be a fence between us and them. Thats why you cant come in my booth.
