Re: Larry Fitzgerald push-offs
What some are saying is that the facemask occurred after the "fumble" but as far as I'm concerned is doesn't matter.
The reason the "fumble vs. interception" distinction is important is because roughing the passer can be called to negate an interception, but once a fumble has occurred, all bets are off with the QB and roughing. I like Fitz, but if I see him pulling that push off crap against our guys I'll be steamed if he gets away with it. Especially if they call an OPI on us at some point during the game. |

Re: Larry Fitzgerald push-offs
sure looked like it to me on the last Fitz TD. I try not to whine about refs, but I gave the Refs a hat trick on that one .
1. holding (not called) 2. Fitz pushed off 3. BS "roughing passer" call . |

Yeah, I agree. Arizona got some "home cookin'" as Hokie would say. But now they have to come to our house. So let's see the refs get away with more than 2 BS calls with 72,000 Saints fans booing loudly as the Jumbo-tron replays it over and over, and Payton gives that infamous "how could you not call that?" scowl.
