On a side-note - that Rogers "fumble" was actually an interception...Rogers arm was moving forward and the ball never hit the ground. I wish these announcers and analysts would get it right.

Re: Larry Fitzgerald push-offs

It did happen.

Guess it can work out both ways. If some judge is too lenient then our guys will have to take advantage too - but only if they need to. Bit of a bummer though on our secondary.

Yeah Fitz is famous for pushoffs. He'll get his share of catches. Their WR crew is crazy good. And their QB isn't bad either . It will be interesting to see if our healthy secondary can keep up.

Thinking our guys need to practice "acting" moves against Fitz then! Exaggerated falls the other direction when he pushes off. Use his cr*p against him!

What some are saying is that the facemask occurred after the "fumble" but as far as I'm concerned is doesn't matter.

The reason the "fumble vs. interception" distinction is important is because roughing the passer can be called to negate an interception, but once a fumble has occurred, all bets are off with the QB and roughing.

I like Fitz, but if I see him pulling that push off crap against our guys I'll be steamed if he gets away with it. Especially if they call an OPI on us at some point during the game.

Re: Larry Fitzgerald push-offs

sure looked like it to me on the last Fitz TD. I try not to whine about refs, but I gave the Refs a hat trick on that one .

1. holding (not called)
2. Fitz pushed off
3. BS "roughing passer" call .

Yeah, I agree. Arizona got some "home cookin'" as Hokie would say. But now they have to come to our house. So let's see the refs get away with more than 2 BS calls with 72,000 Saints fans booing loudly as the Jumbo-tron replays it over and over, and Payton gives that infamous "how could you not call that?" scowl.

Re: Larry Fitzgerald push-offs

Man I hope and pray the game is called well both ways. I can't stomach terrible calls over and over. Contrary to what seems to be popular belief- I do not like the term got to let them play. That usually includes defensive pass interference- something Carolina has been known to get away with
