So why did he do it then? Per a league source, he knee was so swollen that he couldn't have passed a physical. Thus, he had no choice but to get the procedure done. For now, it appears that Sharper could still land with the Saints. It's believed that a couple of other teams might be interested. This is starting to come into better focus now. Why should the Saints franchise him and pay the large amount that goes with the tag, knowing this info would cool his value on the market? Shrewd, but damn that's "Gangsta"! |
