you are here for the exact same reason, to criticize, to critique, to talk about who you like and who you dont and reasons why.....you standing up for jake delhomme has no impact on how anybody will view him or respond to the same topics later on you know why this post upsets me.....not because you supposedly called me out or insulted me......because of hypocritical stuff that you post like this when you turn around on other threads and post stuff like this |

For me...it's the avatar. He looks like a smug little butthole.
Seriously, chouppy...I would consider making a change, but it's just my opinion. That avatar for some reason irritates me. Sorry. Edit...I wouldn't hurt for you to change yours, too, Canton. I think we've all seen enough, but I could be alone in that opinion. I sure hope not! |

Re: Jake Delhomme to Visit Saints (Cleveland signs Jake)
Jake Delhomme is going to make $12MM from Carolina and $7MM from Cleveland this year!!!! Is anyone else falling out of their chair about that knowlege? It's really the most impressive job by an agent I have ever seen.

Ok ok...Jake was signed with the Steamers...it is what it is. Now the real question and debate should be who the hell is going to be the #2 for us next year?

Winners want the ball, when the game's on the line. You can also say, that a good leader, has to become a good follower as well. I don't hate Jake, but he is a freaking crybaby. Accomplishments? Yes, he went to a Superbowl, but close only counts in horseshoes, and hand grenades. Dan Marino went to a superbowl, so did Boomer Esiason. Jake isn't close to the talent, of either one of those guys. And don't get me started on the qbs that have BEEN to the superbowl, that no one hear would probably even know if I did. I wish Jake all the luck in the world. And yes, I am glad he's not in New Orleans. Qbs, are kind of like ex's. There is a reason why they are "ex's".

I keep harping on Hebert, but why don't people feel animosity toward him? What he did was hundreds times worse, IMO. For the record, I could take him or leave him...but I'm kinda glad he will get another shot in Cleveland. He would never get that shot here unless Brees went down, and we don't even want to think about that. Jake can be a jerk at times, also...so this whole thing played out pretty good as far as I'm concerned. |

Bobby never proclaimed his undying love for Atlanta like Jake has done recently for Carolina. Mike thinks he's getting a leader in Cleveland. I think he's getting an average, at best, QB on the downside of his career. Hell, they could have signed Brunell for the same performance and about half the money. Oh well...it's their money, not mine. I wish Jake the best too, but I'm extatic that he's not going to be back in N.O. Giddy. Joyous. Relieved. Thankful. |
