this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Yes I know there will be some saying we fully won't know until 3 years later... but it's not. How do you think we did?...

Re: Grade our draft
I had to give the FO an A.
I know some people were more than a little hysterical when the team didn't draft certain positions, but when you look at the draft in terms of getting value, taking into consideration draft position, the team did outstanding. I have seen three of our picks listed as being among the top "steals." That's good stuff, maximizing your draft picks. Plus, it looks like we have done well picking up undrafted free agents. There is one helluva TC coming up. |

I'm with you, foreverfan. I give it a B+, as well. I just seem to like the guys drafted even more after reading about them. I think we may look back in a couple of years and see this to be a very stellar draft.

Re: Grade our draft
I must say I was a little disgruntled about some of the players we passed on but I know we do a have a scouting team in place that has surely gambled and are coming away with good percentages on quality players.
