I think I've made my position, as clear as I can. "I" believe,and if you don't that's fine, that's what's called difference of opinion, that Bush is by far THE MOST OVERRATED RB, in the NFL. Since the end of 06, every year, is SUPPOSED to be his "breakout year", and I haven't seen it. Was he a piece to the puzzle, of our superbowl run, yes. Was he the reason WHY we got there, and won? NO. He is just another player, on a great team. Like I said before, if he is going to be a star RB, then star RBs, in my opinion, should have at least ONE thousand yard season under his belt, in four years. And not all purpose, ON THE GROUND. He hasn't caught even a whiff of a pro bowl, and yet he's the second most sponsored NFL player, behind only Peyton Manning. Now that I find, completely ludicrous. He's a Saint? Great. I'm glad he is, and yes, he has impressed me on occasions, with his athleticism, but that's it. I don't hate the guy, I just don't think he's what alot of people make him out to be. Decoy, schmecoy, if your going to make claims that you are an elite player, then back it up. If not, then be a role player, which is exactly what he is. Nothing more.

I would also like to say, in my opinion of course, that Brees is the face of the Saints, as he should be. Someone needs to notice that Brees is a freak of a football player, and get him some endorsement deals. Bush is still cashing in on his college days, that have been over for some time now.

And I do not take offense to the criticism he receives if i read something that is incorrect I try to enlighten whoever it is I suggest that you reread my posts and get your facts straight and change your name You have NO LOGIC IN ANYTHING YOU POST you are what the sports world calls a sports center fan stop watchin the ticker and watch the game understand the concepts. The best way I can describe my thoughts after reading those last two posts, and I've used this before, is to refer the reader to the movie "North Dallas 40"...the scene is after they lost and the character played by John Matuszak goes-off on the coach, telling him,

"Just when the players call it a business, the coaches call it a game, and just when they players start calling it a game, the coaches call it a business."

He went on to totally ventilate himself on the coach in that locker room, and when he finished, Poot, the character played by Nick Nolte, exclaims...

"Far out, man!"

btw...if any of you have not seen that movie but are in fact a true fan of professional football, you must see that movie. It is actually based on a true story, and there are characters that represent Don Meredith (Mac Davis), Tom Landry (don't know the actor's name who played him), and a guy who I believe his name was Peter Gent. (Nick Nolte) Their names were different in the movie, but you knew who they were representing. Peter Gent was a guy who had great hands and moves, but apparently didn't do everything Tom Landry's way, so he didn't get the playing time he probably should have gotten. (That's the gist of the movie) Anyway, it is one of the most, if not the most realistic representation of pro football in a movie that I've ever seen.
