3rdnlong quote\"
\"If there are players that have this attitude, I would have no confiedence in them when a game is on the line.

I agree but we are not talking about having a game on the line so far. There is a difference from being a gamer when the game is on the line and getting your butt kicked for 3 1/2 qtrs. just my opinion.

If there are any players on the Saints that have this attitude they should be shipped out immediately. Because they are not giving up on Brooks. They are giving up on the team. They are telling Deuce that no matter how good you play, I\'m not going to go all out because of Brooks. If there are players that have this attitude, I would have no confiedence in them when a game is on the line.

When a head coach allows one player Ala Brooks , to be placed above the others in consideration , you do not have a team .

If Brooks played 4 games hurt and replacing him was never a coaching option to win those games , the team was not playing to win , but were playing a supporting cast to Brooks .

You see these points in post after post , Team seems distracted , team has no heart , team has no desire to win and team has lost concentration . The team is not playing to win as a common goal , they are playing to collect checks and to not point any fingers at Brooks . Last member of the team to do it is in St. Louis .

\"Americans play to win at all times. I wouldn\'t give a hoot in hell for a man who lost and laughed.\" - George S. Patton

You could tell that this team was up to his neck in alligators when we watched LeCharles Bently just giving up sacks in the Titans game.
When a guy like that isn\'t even willing to take out his frustration on defenders, there is something really messed up going on. :P

Haslett lost respect and creditability with both the fans and players the moment he decided to play an injured Brooks over a healthy Delhomme and continued with that stupid thought through the month of December .

The boo birds have been there since game 1 this season in New Orleans and the bagheads were there as soon as the week 4 game . My guess is soon you will see fans start throwing things on to the field in frustration .

Players within the system have to be feeling some of the frustration , it can be seen all along the sidelines .

Why is it with you 08 that everything goes back to Delhomme? Oh...nevermind...you wanna whip up some hometown cookin for the hometown boy. I knew that already.

Look, Brooks was hurt last year, but I maintain because of WHAT I SAW ON THE FIELD that Brooks\' play wasn\'t the reason those games were lost. I\'d ask you to prove otherwise but you couldn\'t, because there\'s nothing substantial to back up your claim...period. Deuce was hurt therefore our running game was weak at best. The Saints have a SERIOUS issue with dropped balls which you seem to discount. Put your boy Delhomme on a team with no running game and receivers who run sloppy routs, fail to get themselves open more often than not and have questionable abilities when it comes to catching passes and see what you\'ve got. Want me to tell you? What you\'ve got is something slightly less than Bobby Hebert, that\'s what.

Now, I\'m sure your speaking about Horn\'s little tirade about being overthrown last Sunday when you mention that \"it can be seen all along the sidelines\". Is that right? Did Brooks have a tirade of his own after Horn let a touchdown pass hit him in the hands (a perfectly thrown pass) and precede to drop it? Well? Was there another \"tirade\" that I misses on TV? What is it that you see \"all along the sidelines\" and where can I get myself a sideline pass. Speak about that which you KNOW and stop your random speculation \'ol man. Your act is old and tired buddy.

As for the rest of you, I have never indicated Brooks was perfect or above improvement, but fact remains that Brooks isn\'t the problem with the Saints offense and he\'s centainly not the problem with this TEAM. And benching him would serve no purpose whatsoever. This so called shakeup you people are talkin\' about is completely rediculous nonsense. Talk to me about a player that doesn\'t play all out all the time for ANY reason and I\'ll talk to you about a player that should be released. I have no problem with Horn\'s reaction...the man wants to win...but what\'s the old saying about throwing rocks in glass houses. I think before Joe has another tantrum he oughta remind himself of the \"sure 6\" he dropped or all the other passes he\'s managed to let slip through his fingers. He\'s not having his best year and he knows it.

C'mon Man...

Thank you 08 for speaking for all the players and the fans. Your little statement here really shows where your agenda against Brooks lies. Just looking at that statement, anyone with any sense knows that this isn\'t true. This is just the way YOU feel. Sure, some fans wanted to see Jake play, but as usual, you just throw things out there to further your agenda.

08-- Your problem isn\'t with Brooks. Your problem is that you are in love with Delhomme. The key would in your statement is \"MOMENT\". You were just waiting for any chance for Delhomme to take the field. You are so upset that when you thought Delhomme\'s \"MOMENT\" had finially arrived and it didn\'t happen, that you are still pissed off about it. Now all you do is bash Brooks because not only didn\'t Jake have his \"MOMENT\" your boy got shipped off.
