He made this team because he's good enough, and he's expected to perform when called upon.
I have no problem with Payton calling his number. Its why he's here. I'd imagine he's getting a heavy dose of ball control this week in practice. |

I think that he may have been brought back a bit too early. The hit he took was violent when he fumbled. Granted he should have held on but he didn't cost us the game, because you can say-HARTLEY, HENDERSON, THE COACHES, DREW, JENKINS, GREER. They all had a part. Where is GW pressure, we look like vanilla preseason schemes.

He'll get a heavy dose this week, next week and the week after that. Ivory is going to be OK. I remember when Bush was fumblina until he learned to tuck the ball and protect it without having to think about it. Even on one of your best days, a perfectly aimed helmet can jar the ball loose. I believe Ivory is going to help us.
