It does suck, and I agree he does have potential. There's nothing we can do about it now. The game is over. We just need to focus on how we're going to beat Carolina next week.

Some of you are the most whiney, throw the baby out with the bathwater disloyal, crybaby couch potato douchebag whiner fans on the planet. Some of you sound like LSU fans.
Please move to Atlanta and become a dirty bird fan because you SUCK as a Saints fan. You're stripped of your Who Dat Republic citizen status. I'll leave it to you to decide if you're on the list of whiney beotchfans or not. The following responses will determine that. Should he have made the kicks? sure. No reason to whine. The season is young. Try to be a better fan... You remind me of Viqueen fans, some of you. |

I would agree with you %100 if this was the only one. He nearly lost the Minnesota game with a shank, he lost the game last night with a 27 yard shank, we lost to Tampa last year due to a missed 37 yarder...
He is at %57.1 for this season! And none of these misses are long field goals. He is missing chip shots. To the people who want o keep him. How many more do you need? |

I am not making excuses for Hartley. Who held for him last season? Was is Brunnel? Still the entire thing doesn't rest on his shoulders. We had a chance to win in regulation. That was yesterday and we need to look forward. There is no reason to panic.

I agree with danno. We were moving the ball. There D was tired, don't stop pounding them 'til your in the end zone. If you don't make to the end zone and it's 4th down, then kick. This was a hard fought game. And the dirty birds came to play. But we won't underestimate them next time. You can believe dat.

fumble pick sack penalties player injured and out for season touchdown kick on 3rd or 4th down and face the same odds for success When you kick from that range...it is either good, and we win...or they get the ball from the 20 and the game goes on. One other thing to consider. I'm pretty sure that a majority of coaches would have made the same call as Payton. If you decide against kicking it when it's a chipshot ...then you could be sending a message to your kicker. It could turn a slight mechanics problem into a huge head-case. I really do think that this entered into Payton's thought process. |
Whether you think you can or think you can't...you're right!
