jenkins

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; have we ever thought about putting jenkins at SS and Sharper at FS instead of Harper at SS. Jenkins is so aggressive and doesn't like coverage schemes, then put him somewhere that he can hit. I dunno makes sense to ...

He Also Left Greer Out To Dry Last Week....Its Really Making Greer Who I Truly Believe Is One Of The Best Shutdown Corners In The League Look Average Because He(Jenkins) Keeps Blowing Assignments...It Looks Like He Has Joy In Hitting Guys....And If Thats The Case Lets Put Him At Strong Safety....Because Pass Coverage Is No Good For Him

The name of the thread is Jenkins. Doesn't really convey enough information to tip off anything.

I reiterate, it doesn't matter at this point if Jenkins is ready or not. He's all we have. We only had one healthy safety at the end of the game today. Guess who it was? He also made a crucial play on the last drive of the game along with Young (who was listed on the injury report IIRC, thus is not healthy).

The defense held Carolina to 14 points. There's really nothing to complain about, except for the decided lack of turnovers.

Super Bowl Championships: New Orleans Saints:1, Carolina:0, Atlanta Chokers: STILL ZERO

Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good.

Listen, I am well aware that Sharper is hurt, along with every other safety with the exception Jenkins. I know this. Stating MY OPINION mind you, I don't think that Jenkins is on Sharper's level, which some people here have said before. Jenkins seems lost when it comes to pass coverage. Someone said this before, and I agree, he looks like a CB playing safety...

You guys know we don't always have to agree on here right?

I'm still new here, so I'll refrain from posting my thoughts on this, and just ask you, what is that picture of Ferrell from? I'm really not much of a fan of his, but that looks hilarious...

it shows how bad it really is without the turnovers

watching replay jenkins missed a sure tackle on dang, williams on td. he tried a failed horse collar when he should have cut his feet out from him for a sure tackle. he should have made that tackle and saved that t.d. you guys tell me different when u see it.

I'm not trying to change anyone's opinions on Jenkins here. I was sitting at the bar when I started this thread, aproximately one minute after said play. He does good things, but to me, mistakes that give up points are the worst mistakes to make. I will take a first down, over seven points anyday. Anyway, IMO, I agree experience will improve that, but he's given up a few of these plays this year. Not to mention Greer was right in front of him, when the receiver ran right past him.

I don't know. A friend of mine had this picture on his myspace a long time ago, and I thought it looked hella funny.
