He's been pretty solid except a coverage issue, here and there.
I remember U. Young giving up a TD in the Super Bowl that could have lost us that BIG game. I didn't see anyone criticizing him when he made that BIG stop on 3rd down on that last drive... He misses that tackle, they get the first and potentially get in range to kick a FG to win |

Guys.... seriously.... he left greer out to dry on that play.... as a safety, that is one of the simplest plays to read.... greer's job is to watch the run on that, with confidence that jenkins picks up the reciever.... 2nd year? He should have known that.... sharper would have had it covered....

We will talk all week about the defense, and rightfully so, but thank all that is holy for Carney, cause we - our high-powered super bowl winning juggernaut of an offense - managed ONE EFFIN touchdown today. ONE?
Look, we all know our D is more or less poo. The ingredient is to score and to score often. We're playing more like LSU than an pro team on offense. If that doesn't change...and soon...we'll be looking ahead to next year. |
