Is it just me or...

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I don't know what the problem is but I do know that this team is talented as all hell. They are extremely well coached. They will get it together and then the league had better watch out again!...

I think Drew Brees is a great quarterback, but we're used to seeing him just absolutely "on fire" 90% of the time- something seems to have doused the flames. I don't know what's going on, but I doubt that he's hurt- he doesn't show any signs of favoring the arm after throws or anything like that. I just think we're not clicking, and Drew is getting dispirited. I think that's the best case scenario at this point.

Problem on Offense: We Need A Three Headed Running Back Monster Like Last Season.....Solution: When P.T. and Reggie Return..We Put Betts As The Bruiser To Take The Place Mike Bell Had Last Year

Problem On Defense: With The Lost Of Sharper And Our Low Selection Of LB's We Have Gone More Conservative On The Pass Rush
Solution: Sharper Returns Healthy And Our LB's Pick It Up

I'm wondering if that surgically repaired shoulder isn't bothering him and they just aren't saying since he obviously can still function at a level that is acceptable. Maybe i'm just being paranoid but something isn't right. Anyone else have any thoughts on this.
i hear where your coming from but i don't think theres anything wrong with the arm, but you can bet hes battered. he chunked a bomb to meach and colston for a miss/drop, nothing suspecting

We're averaging about 5 drops per game. That is absolutely unbelievable.

Take away 1/2 of the drops and we're averaging about 30 points per game and winning every game by an average of two scores.

I used to preach the same thing about Aaron Brooks.

Well I certainly didn't mean to sound panicky or paranoid about a possible shoulder problem. It was just something that occured to me and I wanted to get others thoughts on this. Thanks for the input. I do feel better about our season so far when you stand back and look at the big picture. Trent Dilfer said today on the radio that we have been bringing our C game all year yet we are 3-1 and could be 4-0. He said that is the mark of a good team when you are bringing your C game and still winning. When you look at our injury situation and the fact that everyone seems to be capable of beating anyone so far this year, except for Buffalo, I like where we are at and once we get healthy and work out the little things we will be tough to beat.

Oh and just one little thing, Drew's knee was injured earlier in the season and he is wearing a brace on it. So while its a small thing , it might be affecting him a tiny bit with mobility, but geez, like all of you have said, w/o the dropped passes his completion percentage would be off the charts and we'd won by large margins.
