Hilton To Be Active and other news
Anybody getting worried that Horn\'s injury is much worse than the team is letting on? They lied about the extent of Aaron\'s injury last year so it wouldn\'t surprise me a bit. It just seems that this \"bone bruise\" has been hampering him for longer than it should.
I\'m not slamming Horn here. He was in obvious pain Sunday and played as much as he could - even coming through in the clutch. I\'m just worried about his health. |

Very good point Scotty. They did lie about Aaron last year.

Don\'t they have regulations in place to help keep \"false injury reports\" from happening?

You can always hide behind two little words - \"incorrectly diagnosed\".

\"Hilton to be active\" is such a misleading topic nowadays. I always think of little Paris when I read it.
Aaaaaanyway, we really need some of those players on the injured list to not only play but become healthy again. Especially a playmaker like Horn. Michael Lewis over the middle - effective as that play may be - is a pretty dangerous idea. If he gets popped once more by an Eagles safety he\'ll be looking for the sidelines even quicker on kick-offs. How good was Whitehead against the Falcons? |

About the only thing you can get away with is stating that the player is \"questionable\", ie 50-50%. |

Shanahan\"s fib came during the game and he openly addmitted to it after the game. He told the CBS broadcast team Plummer had a concussion and his return was questionable. Plummer, in fact, had a slight separation of his shoulder, but the coach deliberately fibbed in order to prevent the Chargers defense from knowing what the cause was of his early exodus from the game. Shanahan claimed he didn\'t want the Chargers to be able to go after the shoulder and they should therefore not be entitled to such information.
Shanahan never got fined for this, The league just sent out a warning saying next time there would be disciplinary action. |

I think all of this having to report injuries is BS. I know if I were injuried, I wouldn\'t want my team telling the other team exactly where I was injuried. Might as well put a big bullseye on the injury and invite the opposing team to go right for it. I guess the odds makers in Vegas want to be kept informed so they can change the line. Or, if you believe 08, injuries don\'t matter --
