Man... I thought Jason David & Johnie Poe would walk away with this. Maybe I should have thrown in Josh Bullocks.

You know C-17 I almost forgot about Mike McCarthy but he is right up there with Ditka in my book.

Johnathon Sullivan. The guy got his money and almost literally eat his way out of the league. The Saints gave up 2 first round picks for that guy.

The draft with Ricky was awful but at least he played and the Saints got some nice picks for him from Miami.

And we have the winner!

If that lazy POS had 1/2 the work ethic of the players on this current team he still be playing in this league and probably playing well.

I couldn't pick any of the choices.I rooted for everyone of those guys when they put on a uniform or a headset for the Saints.I do agree with the Sullivan choice though. He never did produce anything.

Boutte said Muncie.Ahhh, old times. My dad used to say,
" G)(*&^%$,because they are all moochy heads."

I do not like show offs, showboating. The players who do this are usually a waste. Ricky Williams was like this. I never liked Ricky Williams.

I know many people don't like Arron Brooks, but really, Drew Brees is the only real qb you have ever had.
Saints qb's-Aaron Brooks, Richard Todd (old meat),Stabler was old too, out -of -the -pocket -running John Fourcade, and even Bobby and Archie were ok.
Take it, Brees has the whole system of players, and coaching staff ,but still, this guy turned out to be a diamond in the rough.

Not to mention all the hype that came with Ditka himself...
I fault Ditka more than anyone else. He quandered many a game with poor clock management and bad judgement calls. Only thing I really give him credit for is going after Doug Flutie.

Venturi on the other hand, awful. People were always patting him on the back which I never understood. He was a hard worker but the results more often than not were highlight reels for other teams.

I picked Ditka bc of the long term effects. We were still shaking off his hangover yeras later

Jason David was supposed to fill our most glaring need at that time. We dropped big money on him, but in the end we recovered.

No one who went to ATL, other than Morten, really did much afterwards- Horn, Ambrose, few other minor players
