If Pete Carroll comes calling again do we trade Bush this time for Marshawn Lynch and a draft pick?

4) Wide Receiver - No way we keep Colston and Meachem after this season,

Reggie would make a terrible WR. Lousy hands and not nearly as fast as he used to be. You rarely see a player learn a new position after 6 years in the league. He'd be our worst receiver on the team, including the practice squad.

Reggie wouldn't even net us a 7th in a trade, much less Lynch and a pick. Who would trade for that $12million contract? Carrol would laugh at us.

Colston and Meachem are locks for the 2011 team, IMO.

Seriously? He has bad hands? He had 88 receptions as a rookie, before the time share the following season; career, he's averaging 5 receipts/game.

Danno, Bush currently lines up in the slot a couple of times a game name.

Devery Henderson? Robert Meachem? I'd take Bush before either of these guys. Though the salary slot is higher than it should be.

Probably right, but Carrol likes his guys; and there were alleged inquiries last season for a trade for Bush and the alleged source of the inquiries was Seattle.

Look, it's the last year of both their contracts; I'd keep Colston and let Meachem geaux and get compensatory draft picks...

Not saying he has good or bad hands, but 5 receptions a game on swing passes and dump offs isn't exactly a great measure of saying that he has good or bad hands. With that said, if he lined up as a full time WR, I'd say he'd drop more passes than Devery... not even close honestly.

And don't misunderstand, I'd like to keep Porter, but they were smart to take a talented DB at that position, allowing a year of development...

When you consider we moved up for Ellis, Seventh Pick, and the Bullshinski with his Rookie holdout, the expectations are higher (Twelve sacks in Three Seasons, Two Fumbles/Minimal Impact)...

At least Bush has given us some moments with the big play...

Bush's big plays have been few and far between. He was the second pick in the draft. We passed on Ngata and Vernon Davis for this guy. We also passed on everyone else in the draft that wasn't Mario Williams. HE WAS THE SECOND PICK! I like Bush and would like to keep him around at a good price, but he's a bust and he's the biggest bust of the Payton/Loomis era.

And I can't remember when he caught a pass thrown farther than 10 yards downfield. A GlassBack occasionally playing in the slot doesn't make him a WR. Its a compeltely different skillset. Most of Reggies receptions are withing 3 to 5 yards of the LOS. That won't work as a wideout.

I think we'd have more success if we moved Henderson to RB than moving Bush to WR, but both are bad ideas.

What do you think Reggie is??? He is a slot WR that we use out of the backfield and a PR. That is it. Listing him as a RB is a crock!

Probably a 1.2 million dollar catch.

I like Delone Carter of Syracuse - maybe lower-miles than some of the other runningbacks and on the upswing. Easy to scout too as Doug Marrone is his coach.

Draft Demarco Murray, if hes there, but we do need to address OLB, DE and DT.
Sign Deangelo Williams loomis, get it done!!
