Saints Draft

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Maybe it was their quarterback play in Alabama and maybe it wasn't... but he did not play up to his potential at Alabama. Sure he's a physical freak, but AJ Green is polished an a absolute monster. I can't remember ...

I can't remember ever labeling a WR this early(because yea it's premature and stupid), but if Green stays healthy throughout his career, I can see him knocking on Canton's door when it's all said and done.

Not sure I buy that. Bama runs a pretty conservative ball-control offense, which I would too with Ingram and Richardson in the backfield, so McElroy (QB) didn't target him as much. He spreads the ball around alot too so no one WR is gonna get all the targets.

And McElroy is a very hot/cold QB, more often cold than hot.

In 2010 Jones played with a broken hand with a steel rod insert. If Bama ran a wide open offense he'd have put up outstanding numbers.

What many don't realize is that Julio Jones is an outstanding blocker in the run game.

His only true knock is that he does have the occasional dropsies, but not anything like Devery's 1st few years here. He has great hands, Dude can palm a medicine ball.

It's all about where they're drafted. Land in St. Louis - you could grow with a future, star QB. Land in Cleveland and you may never make a Pro Bowl.
