Metallica. They are mainstream enough for most to enjoy. Three songs: Enter Sandman, Battery, Seek and Destroy. No medleys.

Just pyro, smoke, lights, crowd surfing and circle pits. No synchronized crowd dancing, no stage props, no guest stars, no auto-tuning voice effects.

All so some poor sheltered and indoctrinated kids out there can see actual rock n roll.

Work it.

These shows are what they are. Just a highlight show for an artist who may have earned it with their career. I don't put much into these things anymore. Was it really the worse NO! Was it the Best No! It will just depend on who you ask.

Actually I thought the Who last year was perhaps the worse I saw.

Shooting up now means the enima bag. - The Who

Yea, last year was a little tired. The Who was a little too old.
This year, does anybody think that the crowd was that interested?
I'd be pissed if I paid $2000 a ticket for that show.

They should have went some where in the "Middle" and go with.... Boy George.

They shoud have cut away from Christina's butchering and played this on the 60 yard long monitor.

I loved The Who and totally hated the show this year. My wife told me before the game even started that she was expecting the halftime show to stink and pointed out that she was right after it was over.

Christina is such a gifted singer - all she has to do is dial down the histrionics and sing soft and gentle. But I guess that's not her thing.

I thought The Who was pretty bad last year. In terms of pure performance level, I thought Prince was probably the best of the last ten years. Btw, I thought Fergie was off last night. The visuals were kind of fun though.

Oh, and, Geaux Packers!

You just listed my favorite renditions of the National Anthem in exact order, Sarge. Whitney's version STILL sends chills up my spine. Christina, on the other hand, should be drug out into public and be shot several times in the throat to save us and herself from any further embarrassment.

Whitney Houston, followed by Beyonce, Faith Hill, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson were the best of singing the National Anthem according to you tube.
Lea Michelle, actress from Glee, did a wonderful, outstanding job of singing America The Beautiful.
I agree Christina's was the worst, but I did not even hear her sing. I left the room.
CA singing the National Anthem and murdering and disgracing it is not new. She does this. Lakers Cham. game, CA sang Nat. Anthem, and it was horrible. A disgrace.
Over stressting words. Repeating words.
Why is the girl asked to do it over and over again.
I think after this disgrace, artists should be a requirement that is to be sung properly and if the person wants to add her own spin, change the words, well, don't be allowed to do it.

Write up about her SB performance...
