I know it isn't necessarily news at this point, but wanted to post this link.

Saints sign Rogers and tender offers to 10 players - NFL - Yahoo! Sports

EDIT: Notice there is a tender offer in there for Pierre, which means management still has faith in him.

This is a great move. He will likely be a starter at 1-tech drawing the double team to help Big Sed get pressure in the middle.

It also gives the Saints more flexibility in the draft. Now DT isn't a MUST have.

Personally I'd like for the Saints to look for a DE in the first round. I still have faith Casillas is the solution at OLB.

NFL network just reported that Shaun Rogers turned down a 6M offer from a team because he wanted to join us!!!
How good is it that players are looking at this team, like it's the one where they can do great things with a great organisation!!
