NFL Players Say "NO" to 18 Game Season

Me and you both Breesfan. I knew it was a ridiculous idea the first time I heard of it. I like the preseason games so we can see who and what we have, and adding two more games to the end of the regular season is just more opputunities to get the players injured. All the owners saw out of it was two more weeks of TV revenue. My idea was to leave the preseason alone, leave the regular season at a 16 game schedule, but add two more bye weeks into the season. The players are healthier and the owners still get their two more weeks of TV revenues. Everybody is happy.

I just dont know if I could do three bye weeks, (I can do it, if the rest of you can.) but I totally agree with giving the players extra time for healing and rest --- and making the season longer --- 18 weeks of football !!!!!!
