Here\'s the thing, are the Saints finally coming together as a team, as a unit, playing like a top ranked team in the NFL. I don\'t know if it just looked that way against the Giants because they sucked, or they are playing better football, as a team not just Brooks. The next two weeks should say something.

Definately. Jacksonville is an up and coming team with a fantastic defense. They\'ve lost a lot of close games. Lately they\'ve look great.
If we think its a gimme game we could get wiped out.
Del Rio has done a fantastic job, as most of us knew he would.
Fred Taylor has 200yard potential in any game. He scares the crap outta me.

If we play well and win it will say quite a bit more than just \"we beat another losing team\"

Dallas will also be a good test. Especially if it means something. They also have a great defense.

We need to play well in both and use it as a springboard into next year.

Hopefully we can land the right free-agents and draft the right players.

The most interesting stat :

NEW ORLEANS is 0-2 after a win by 14 or more points this season. (2-5 over the last 3 seasons.)

Has problems keeping focused ????

Fun facts #7 and #12 rule! Optimism for next season should abound... and for this season?

Saints08, that was a good stat you pointed out. I think that has been the most convincing point against coaching so far. Something to think about, I\'d say.

Canada.

I\'m currently doing graduate work at University of Wisconsin - Madison.

Maybe one or both of those explain my accent?

YOu can have all the stats in the world but you also need the football gods to shine on you and hope the ball bounces into your hands and not out of Brooks. We have a great team... just the football goods aren\'t watching us this year.

Here\'s an interesting question to go with these interesting facts - how many people think that the Saints will put it all together next year?

I mean last year we were 7-2 through nine games, we led the league in offense, blah blah blah... then we went 2-5 in out last seven losing to 3 last place teams and ending up 9-7 and out of the playoffs. This year we started 1-4 and since have gone 6-3, and now we\'ve got more great stats. Two years ago we were 7-5 before finishing 0-4. In any case, congratulations to the Saints for having some interesting stats.

Now I want to know how many of you think that this team is going to play like the 7-2 team of last year, or even the 6-3 team of this year (who hasn\'t beatten a team with a winning record mind you), for a FULL 16 GAMES next year? The ONLY thing that the Saints have done consistently over the last three seasons is play inconsistently. That is the most telling stat of all, and all this other stuff is little more than an \"interesting\" excuse for banter.
