lets talk about all the throws that are not deep balls. look at the number of target vs. drop. until the the king Stallworth left, Henderson was always #2. now he is #1. I have to give him credit though. Injured or not he is consistent. he sux in flat and over the middle.

I am not drinking the Herbert cool aid

i agree we can not afford to lose all that speed in one season. I have a gut feeling Bush is all but done here, but then again Mickey may pull another rabbit out of the hat. Moore I am a fan of.

Henderson is over paid and always was over paid in my opinion. You search my posts and u can see plenty of "If he stays oh well" statements. I have posted enough stats on him. So every year i am

Mech is one season away joining the Stall = Hend = Mech statement. i gave all of them enough time before i started lamb basting them.

Now if Henderson could be a PR/KR then that would be different. But some one on the saints side line does not believe him for that role. they try it every year and well we all know how that turns out.

We once thought Devery would be a perennial explosive wideout that scared opposing defenses, and his stat line always looked good with this huge yards per catch and some nice deep TD's. But during this time he frustrated fans and the coaching staff with drops and sporadic efforts.

He has really come around as a player. He worked through the drops and has become a pretty consistent clutch receiver. I was even more impressed with him on our SB run when Brees went to him in situations that would have terrified me in the past. He's a quiet guy, plays his role, fills in as a returned when needed and can still be a very effective receiving option. With Meachem continuing to be a worse enigma than a young Devery was, Arrington having shown nothing but a pre-season flash, and Moore up in the air, I think Devery is a much needed WR in our system.

We have no training camp to speak of and knowing the routes and scheme will be key. I think we'd be crazy to go without him especially with the conditions this year.
