Anyone can run the streak and not catch the ball. plenty of UDFA out there can do that.

Mechman needs to take over the #2 or i will get the same attitude towards him by the end of the season. Time to step up
Meachem has been a bust to me since he was drafted and showed up to TC not in shape.

How on earth at that age, just playing the college game, can you show up after being drafted in the first round out of shape?!?!

It is time for the Adrian Arrington era to begin or admit that was a mistake moving back into the draft for him and getting Lance signed and preparing for next year's draft...

Keep Henderson. He's been more dependable of late. He's a solid #2 in this offense.

I think Moore is great, but not big enough to be a #2. He's more of a slot.

Thoughts?

i think lance moore is perfect in the slot. he's more of a possesion reciever. i love lance moore, but, he's not a burner, and he's 5'9. i think he catches the ball very well, he's athletic as hell, and he's decent finding space before and after he catches the ball, which makes up for his lack of size and speed.

i think we need devery. i think we need lance. i hope theres a way to keep them both.

Considering talent, salary slot, and effectiveness - I'd keep the receivers in this order Colston, Arrington, Moore, Henderson, Meachem

This is by far the stupidest thing you've ever posted. Some people are drinking the Lance Moore kool aid. Many in the NFL believe that he's special because he plays for the Saints.

Henderson catches the deep ball as good as anybody on the team. In fact he makes a bunch of hard catches. Where he's had trouble is with the short and easy catches. He does a great job with the long ball. You want to talk drops, look at Colston too. For years, Devery averaged a TD in every 7 catches he made. 2010 was an off year.

Just think if we would have had the speed of Henderson & Meachum when Bobby Hebert was the QB. It would have been a different story for the RBs. They can't put 8 on the line with those 2 in the game.

If we lose Moore & Bush, you're going to be screaming for Henderson. It's hard to lose that many players and remain the #1 offense.

Arrington hasn't done crap. I'd try to keep the 4 guys that has already proven that they are the #1 offense in the league. Why mess with that kind of success. Arrington is a pipe dream fill in player. Assuming all return for 2011, Arrington is still the odd man out.

I'd be the first to tell you that you can't coach "Great Hands". If you could, everybody would have them.

Lance has "Great Hands". Lance has made some sick catches and made the routine look easy. We are a better team with him... but other than Great Hands, he's a roll player for the Saints. He doesn't strike fear into a defense. All he does is keep the chains moving. I guess that's good enough.

Danny Abramowitz once said that a good WR concentrates on catching the ball. A great WR concentrates on concentrating on the ball. That's the difference.

Why are we even talking about Arrington? He is a PS player at best. Sure if he got some PT Brees would make him look decent. I wont lose a wink of sleep if the Saints part ways with him. Devery on the other hand is proven and like it or not is an important piece of out passing attack!
