Oops, I see it now. I'm blaming it on the whole adrenaline, I'm so past ready for football I can't even think straight thing. The rest of what I said still stands though.

Are they playin' yet?
How 'bout now?

Does anyone else think that Gregg is being groomed to take the crown if Coach Payton's plans to retire in a couple of years are true?

I hate to say this, but we are on GW last year, and I think he wants to be a head coach.

I don't think he is going to stick around for Sean Payton to retire.

Don't know about you, but I'm gonna enjoy every minute of it.

Where did he HC before?

He had a stint with the Bills as a Head Coach. But then went back to being a defensive coordinator for the redskins. Greg thought he would take over as head coach when Gibbs left, but Snyder fired him instead. Then we got the gift of a great defensive coordinator!!!

Hes been a horrible head coach everywhere he has been. Sometimes great coordinators do not translate into great head coaches and I believe Williams is one of these. I for one would rather find someone else to replace Payton when he retires. Someone better will be out there, and with the way this program has improved we will pretty much be able to get anyone we want.

He also did a year as the DC/AHC in Jacksonville following the Washington stint, but he hasn't been a successful HC yet... but that
day might yet come. Here's to hoping that SP won't retire in the near future! You don't think that SP will pass the torch to his AHC Joe Vitt?

Isn't Vit like 150 years old?

Hopefully he's grooming some one on the staff.

(Sooner or later Payton will coach the Cowboys)
