Westridge just before Kirby. We'll line up in the eastbound side of the street, and charge Gate 8 at 2:55pm. We're shooting for lot 18. But really, wherever we can line up together will be cool.

Those of you bringing heavy equipment, (generator, tent, box fan, etc) chat with me early next week, and chances are, I can put it in the back of my truck, so you wont have to tote anything.

Everybody Else: We've concluded its too hot to cook, so most of us are just bringing Popeyes. But bring whatever you want to share. Even chips/dips are helpful. Wouldnt mind a dessert. We could use a variety of beer or soda-- there will likely be kids.

We need coolers & ICE.

Still need a couple box fans & Saints fold out tent. If no one has a Saints tent, I'll get some from my station. I just prefer not to have my station logo, in case I have to fight hostile fans- I dont want to be identified with my work.

I spoke to SkyMike tonight and he will be away from his computer until Monday. He asked me to pass along that we will have more details about OPERATION POPEYE late Monday night. We will have to move the meeting place to another location because of traffic flow around Reliant on game days.
Most likely it will be south of 610 near the old AstroWorld/Six Flags site.

I have done this before, and we met in a parking lot of a Sam's or a Walmart where there's not a lot of traffic on a game day. I didn't think that the location proposed would work since it sounded like we were meeting on a street in traffic. It needs to be in a parking lot where we can wait for everyone to get there. Does anyone know if there is a Sam's near the stadium?
