this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; to screw up as much as we did and still have a chance to win. We'll be just fine and we'll see the too much hype team again in the NFC Championship game...

I'm actually glad Lynch scored the TD. I just didn't like the way he did it. Because after he got the first down, if he didn't score, the game would have been over. They run out the clock and we don't see the ball again.

Though that POS aaron rogers won't admit it, he was sweating us making that TD at the end and going into OT. I'm still not letting the defense off the hook for this loss, but we gave GB all they wanted in that game. Even a LITTLE BACKBONE shown by our defense would have won that game for us. After 3 years in this system I'm very disappointed in our d. (Note: with the way they played they don't deserve caps.)

We were one yard and a two point conversion away from tying the game. Now we know how much heart Drew Brees and the offense has, we need to see something from the defense.

I was going to post something right after the game, but I'm glad I didn't. It took awhile for me to calm down and become coherent. Well. here are my thoughts anyway. IF it weren't for some bad play calling (one when we should have kicked a field goal and another at the end when I felt Drew had them set up for a quarter back keeper) even after the lousy defense, we still could have won that game. In other words we took all the World Champs threw at us and were only behind by 8 points; most of which we caused ourselves. So take heart. The sky is not falling, nor is our world coming to an end. We have some stuff to clean up, but what team doesn't? And Aaron Rodgers, if you're listening, WE'LL BE BACK!
