I also remember people ripping his arm strength and I thought it was completely overblown. I think I remember the exact play I used to prove my point. I believe it was a 50 yard laser he threw against the Jets for a touchdown. |

I didn't want Culpepper when he was healthy!!
He couldn't do much, even with Cris Carter and Randy Moss, so what was he going to do with our receivers? |

never did. i honestly was a brees fan before he came here. not his biggest fan but still a fan. Im a 5'9" guy so i like other little guys. im a huge sproles fan

I wonder if Payton would have been able to save Culpepper's career. I always (up to that point) thought he was a pretty good QB. His first few games with the Dolphins he looked pretty good, then he just fell apart.

Ok I may not have been sold on Drew - BUT I was sure as heck AGAINST Culpepper.
If he had been anywhere near where he had been before the knee injury I would have thought differently. BUT he wasn't & that was obvious! |
