I know that we had some serious injury problems last year and it's great to have depth. But is it really to our benefit to have 4 RB's with starting potential all fighting for touches? Is there a time when (and if) all are healthy that they can't get into a groove because they aren't in the game enough? Is there such thing as "too much of a good thing?"

No, I'm not suggesting to part ways with any of them. I love the prospect of all four on our rosters.

With all these backs, I wouldn't put it past Payton to run the wishbone once or twice. OK, seriously what happens when Ivory comes off of the PUP, cut a FB but then Ivory will have to play ST. Man having 4 quality RB's sounds sweet but how do you play them all when the 3 right now aren't getting enough touches.

Yeah but who's roster spot does Ivory take and was that person playing on STs? And how do you decide who to activate or not? I can't see any of the other 3 not activated.

You know I was thinking of Harper going to a Lb, I think he could fit in there.

That's a tough call. Sproles is amazing and he won't be inactive unless injury. PT I think if he got more touches could be our feature back easily. He is doing a great job so far.

Ingram so far is playing like a rookie but he'll need more reps to get better which isn't going to happen in this offense. Not saying he won't get better but I think it will take longer.

My guess is all 4 active or they waive Ivory. I don't know if he is eligible for practice squad or not.

He wouldn't last 5 seconds on the waiver wire. I'm positive we'll keep 4 RB's on the roster (we always have), but probably only 3 will be activated on gameday.

After the revolving door of RBs last year it would take being depleted in another area to even consider it. That was a big migraine for Payton and Loomis.
