this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; With all these backs, I wouldn't put it past Payton to run the wishbone once or twice. OK, seriously what happens when Ivory comes off of the PUP, cut a FB but then Ivory will have to play ST. Man ...

With all these backs, I wouldn't put it past Payton to run the wishbone once or twice. OK, seriously what happens when Ivory comes off of the PUP, cut a FB but then Ivory will have to play ST. Man having 4 quality RB's sounds sweet but how do you play them all when the 3 right now aren't getting enough touches.

I doubt we activate 4 RB's on gameday so somone will be inactive.

That's a tough call. Sproles is amazing and he won't be inactive unless injury. PT I think if he got more touches could be our feature back easily. He is doing a great job so far.
Ingram so far is playing like a rookie but he'll need more reps to get better which isn't going to happen in this offense. Not saying he won't get better but I think it will take longer. My guess is all 4 active or they waive Ivory. I don't know if he is eligible for practice squad or not. |
