After the revolving door of RBs last year it would take being depleted in another area to even consider it. That was a big migraine for Payton and Loomis.

I think as soon as he is eligible you see him on the field..he is too strong a runner and will really help us down the stretch..

Relax guys, the Saints do not have to make an immediate decision on Ivory once the 6 week period is up. Here is what I found regarding this issue:
PUP players can begin practicing after six weeks, and their teams have three weeks from the time the player starts practicing to add them to the active roster. If the player does not practice within that three week window, they have to be left on the PUP list the entire season. |

I guess I'm in the minority here, but I hope Ivory gets limited carries. I'd rather see Sproles, PT23, and Ingram get the rock. Ivory is a hard runner, but his fumble issues concern me and I think he's the fourth best back on the roster.
