If Scott Shanles nickname is Greg then yes if not then Whomp Whomp FAIL OF THE WEEK! Not even. *FAIL OF THE MONTH* I feel Scott Shanle is no longer useful. DeAngelo Williams ran up and down his side right by him. Dunbar and Casillias can hold the OLB. Tackling needs to be better I dont like how were always almost in position to make a play on passes. I think they need to do a better job making adjustments on the ball since we blitz so much we gotta play less zone and more man, we give up some big plays in zone. Teams will stay outta the middle and try more outside runs to avoid Rogers and Frankiln so the OLB's mainly Shanle has to play better. He's a BUM! I think he must've seen Benson at a cat house or something I dont know why hes still on the team. |

Giving up big plays like Thomas and David were back, and tackling like it's a training camp no-contact drill.
Eventually it will cost us |

Our defence really scares me as well, but I am pleased that we are able to find a way to win so far. Williams has got to tighten these guys up before the late season games, or I am afraid the playoffs will be a short season again. Lots of time yet though, and so far we have dodged a few bullets. I remain hopeful that this can get fixed.

Go rip their faces off and attack the ball. Get offensive on defense. |

A lot of defenses are struggling this year. GB has looked liked Swiss cheese and they are undefeated. This may be the first year you can start saying....Offense wins championships!!!!

Unfortunately, the road will go through Lambeau in early January. No doubt about that. Alaska |

Defense keps giving up big plays, eventually the Offense won't be there to bail them out. It will be a killer in a big game.

The most telling thing about our "D", without diving in to stats (which never tell the whole story good or bad) or over-thinking this or that is this:
Carolina ran the OPTION on us successfully. This is the NFL, and they were having good results running the OPTION. You really don't have to look beyond that, do you? |
