Saints Run Up Score on Hapless Colts, Though Media Doesn't Attack Sean Payton, Drew Brees

You guys missing the point of what it means to run up the score.

When there is a lot of time left in the game its not running up the score... its scoring what ever you can because you don't know what is going to happen and the other team makes a comeback.

Late in the game when you have them beat say 24 to 0 with 2 minutes to the gentlemen thing to do is not throw a touchdown pass... that is running up the score not what the Saints did. It totally 2 different things.

Obviously the Saints pulled Brees out before the 4th quarter and only ran the ball after that so its no harm and clearly no foul.
