this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; they lost this game because they over-looked the Rams. I am not sure what they were looking past them at; if it was the Bucs because of that loss, then we need to beat them by at least 21 points. ...

Although the Saints will never admit it,
they lost this game because they over-looked the Rams.
I am not sure what they were looking past them at; if it was the Bucs because of that loss, then we need to beat them by at least 21 points. Maybe they thought beating a winless NFC team was going to be as easy as beating a winless AFC team. If, and it is a very real possibility, the Saints get swept by the Bucs next week, I for one am going to push the panic button. I could swallow the losses to the Packers and Bucs; but this one is going to burn for awhile. We will have to put it on the mantle next to other notable Saints accomplishments, like the first team to lose a playoff game to a team with a losing record. I hope a reporter somewhere asks Payton why we didn't run the ball more. |
