this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I\'m not starting a debate - I just saw a number of posts that said that Brunell was at Brooks\' level and very few objections. I don\'t think Brooks is all that great, but I do think Brunell is worse....

QB news around the league
Just kidding about the debate. I\'m not good at throwing in the \'s or the \'s or the :P \'s. Not really my style.
Do you think that Brunell was good in his younger days? Pretty similar to Brooks, I think. Brunell scrambled more. Which raises a question: Does anyone think that Brooks should scramble more? I\'m not sure myself. He was able to run away from trouble in his first year here. But rather than sit on the fence with this I\'ll say that I think that he should run more. Make defenses worry more about his feet and maybe stay a little more honest. It\'s the \"run Forrest run\" idea. If you get into trouble, don\'t think too hard. It may get you sacked, cause a fumble, or even force an interception. I don\'t want to see Brooks on the sideline with one of these-- |
