The Giants scored one time too many for my comfort, but they are the Giants, led by Eli Manning. They are going to score.

Tackling will always be a problem, or so it seems. And that cushion that the corners are gifting must be a G.W. call or else it would be reduced.

Porter has more tackles than any other Saint, but he is missing a step or two from his peak year of 09-10.

Another potential interception bounced off (was it) Jenkins' chest. Wow.

Alaska
Good thing they practiced interceptions this week.

Yes, Robinson was horrible last night. The cushion I didn't like but I understood the reason behind it. It was the unwillingness to attack the play once it happened is what I really despised last night. It was freaking horrible. Porter was/is no better. And I agree with Danno in that the last 2 years have not been good to him.

We were up big when they finally got one through, and if there was any giants I would have wanted to have a good day and my team still win it was Victor Cruz. ( he's on my fantasy team, sry!!!) But when Harper ( seasoned veteran ) and Robinson ( often picked on ) bit on the run they looked like two clowns at the three ring circus!!! When Cruz caught the second TD it got me to thinkin " Where the hell is Johnny Patrick"!!!!

When you blitz 70% of the time your CBs will usually be back to prevent the deep play...

He shined in training camp too. He could be a solid player down the road.

I think our entire line is getting no pressure BECAUSE of the cushion we are giving. How can we get the QB when he always has a short pass? With the exception of Greer, the rest of the db's have zero play recognition.

I also can't stand when we just stand there and wait for the receiver to come to us. That s**t makes me nuts!!

When the score was already decides, the Giants turn in a lot of "junk" yards. We cares if they get a ton of yards and don't score. You guys are nit picking. GW calls the defense.

Glad to hear someone else say this. I have always felt that the numbers or the final score didn't always tell the story of how a game went. I'll take a defense that let's the offense move up and down the field but holds them to FG's or no score over one that lets the offense move at will right into the endzone. When the game is out of reach most offenses are going to rack up yardage just to try and make the score respectable. So we gave up 400 yards in the air. We won the game by 25 pts. I'll take that every day and twice on Sunday.
