Regarding Tuesday Practice:

"FS Louis Delmas (knee) and CBs Chris Houston (knee) and Brandon McDonald (knee) are also out in an injury-depleted secondary. The Lions are getting an early start to the practice week after playing last Thursday. There's still a possibility that (Kevin) Smith will return by Thursday or Friday, but we wouldn't bank on it at this point."

Kevin Smith possibly being out is huge as well. He's the type of running back that can give our defense problems. The Lions offense has been clicking when Best was healthy and in the couple games that Smith was able to shine. With Morris, they have been pretty average offensively. It forces the Lions to become one dimensional and throw mostly to the receivers or tight end downfield.
