this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Is Peyton worth it? Nobody is worth the money. But if McNabb is getting $100 million as is Culpepper...why shouldn\'t he? Smartest QB in the game,....

Yet another QB discussion...
if they franchise him... its average of best 5 at that position and its only for a year and they will have the same problem next year and could be worse if someone else they don\'t want to let go next year to use the tag on them. Tagging manning also lets someone else come in and pick him up.
