this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I agree. That was an idiotic act. The Saints started becoming successful when it was all about the team. That was a ME thing. That crap doesn't belong on this team and I don't care for it in the league ...

I think I saw it a little different than anyone has mentioned. PT couldn't give ALL of the Saints fans a gift, so the football with a bow given to a fan was representative of him giving Saints fans what they want! TDs!!! I thot it was sweet, and may have been a little cheesy, but hey....it's Christmas! Where's the love????

My only problem with it was that it took too damn long. Creative though. I don't have any problems with TD celebrations, just do a dry-run first. HA!

I'm a girl! We sorta like cheesy sometimes. And romantic...and sweet...and meaningful....and (should I go on)?

I wasn't a big fan of the present stunt, though it was cute it was a bit showboaty. But it was all worth it to hear the ref explain the flag "Unsportsmanlike conduct ... number 23 ... using the football as a prop in an act of celebration" I LOL'd.
