We had to kick off deeper back and Atlanta got a return. Had something ignorant happened, like special teams breakdown and Atl returned the kick for points, it would have been TOTALY STUPID! I don't want to give the opponent a FREE opportunity for ANY points whatsoever. |

It was a great show of support to the fans of New Orleans. $12,500 divided by 52 players and how many coaches is what? I think he'll be OK. I do agree with Danno however, it was not a good decision so early in the game. As long as he doesn't shoot fireworks when we play the Panthers, we'll chalk it up to lesson learned.

And it wasn't a show of anything other than self-promotion. Another thing I will guarantee is that is the last time he ever does anything like that under Sean Payton's watch. |

You know one thing I don't understand is many or most end zone celebrations use the football as a prop. Spiking the ball, dunking the ball, spinning the ball, etc. How come those are not similarly called?

Using a prop other than the football is a 15 yard penalty and every player knows it. |

I think they need to re-word the rule. They said using the football as a prop. But the bow was the 'prop'.
Well, you guys are making me rethink PT's celebration. But, I want more end zones dances. Colston and Sproles need more end zone personality. But, not at the cost of penalties. |
