To early to tell. Spaags is great at coaching up young talent. Give him a year or two before we lable him a bust

What concerns me is Arrington played in the 49ers game, and he and Drew basically had no clue on one another. Everything thrown to Arrington looked to be just a bit off. Throw in two new receivers in the mix and it is very easy to see a significant drop off in production.
You make a good point, and for all those people clamouring for change, getting rid of our Super Bowl coach Gregg Williams, or particular players, you really don't know who you'll get, or what kind of team we'll have next year. I HOPE we're fixing problems, I hope we're getting better, and I hope a lot of players will keep their personal expectations in line, so we can have a great team. But who knows, all you folks may have gotten what you want, and next year we may be 8 and 8. I hope I'm wrong, as I really enjoyed watching my lifelong team, and them actually winning most of the games, and I'm glad we had the right combination, at the right time.

What's not to like about Meachum? He's fast and makes plays. Are you guys resigning him? Or letting him go in free agency?

We don't know yet. We'd gladly trade him for a 49er d-lineman....

Would really like to have some of the Saints WR's. LOL. I guess we each have some strong points. The front 7 of the 49ers is pretty damn good. But our WR's could really use some work. Vernon Davis at TE is great but the WR's don't impress me. I like Colston and Meachum both. Hoping we can get one of those....

Speaking on behalf of the organization..... we'll give you Will Smith & Robert Meachem for Aldon Smith & Michael Crabtree.

Meachem is ok. I think he is on a slow learning curve; which in the NFL isn't a good thing. Devery had a slow learning curve. It took him a while but no matter what some say here, Devery is a good WR. The issue with him, is that it took him too long to get where he's at now. If Meachem follows this path he wont be here long.

I wouldn't trade Aldon Smith for anybody. He's the best pass rusher we had in 20 years. Combined with Justin Smith and Ray McDonald and Ahmad Brooks it's pretty devastating.

But Crabtree I think you can have. He's pretty slow and doesn't separate well. A lot of Diva attitude with him as well. He may be overrated around the NFL by fans coming from a guy who watches the team every week. He's certainly not bad but I don't think he is as good as his reputation is either.
