It must've been Mitch King 'cause Johnson was hurt in that SF game's 2nd quarter and didn't play in the pre-season after that. The problem with King is that he isn't big/heavy enough to create a push (6-2, 280) against the opposing O-linemen and he isn't tall enough to disrupt the passes if he doesn't get to the QB (kinda the problem with Ellis too). It's really a shame since he does seem to have a great motor and a relentless attitude... GW just didn't find a good way to use him in his schemes, but maybe Spags can find a way to tap into his potential. |
