You know if we're going to witch hunt, why not Sharper?
I think no one knows who it is. I think the league has zero obligation to tell the truth or give facts. If the Saints are harshly penalized, there will be outcry and possibly law suits. Spygate was basically CHEATING to win games... a slap on the wrist was given. If we get much more than that I believe the Saints organization will take the league and this commish to court. The instigator was Gregg Williams. If the Saints suffer infractions, then GW should also suffer as the architect of the scheme. |

Greg Williams is at the center of all this. While a rewards system exists on every team as an incentive for players to perform, Williams took it to another level by promoting payments for the injury of other players (allegedly). That is the line that was crossed. It is coming to light that he made this same poor, professional choice in basically every organization he has coached for. The Saints just have the misfortune of being one of them. Nothing takes away from the SuperBowl win. |
