does brees want that extra money because with bounty gate some defensive players may take a "shot" at the saints by hitting drew harder than normal? (kind of a retaliation vs the saints for percieved bounty hits on others) AND he will(likely) be without Nicks...He could be bracing for some devestating shots and trying to financially secure his family should he ever be forced to retire...just a thought

Yeah, I don't think they can afford him with Shaub's $8.3M cap hit for next season, and I don't think they want to part ways with him either. It would be a good fit, but I doubt the Texans are looking for a QB, even one as good as PM. |
