His skill set has been better suited for college; however, Spagnuolo has traditionally used four down lineman to all get to the backfield as opposed to these really big behemoths who occupy space allowing another player to break in...

So he may do well here...

And he'd give the same production as Ellis with probably a better cap number

Even for an underachiever though, it sounds as though he could very well achieve more than the Franklin/rogers duo managed last season, and if its for the right price I'd really like to see him sign

Yeah, and he is 3 to 4 years younger than Franklin and Rogers.

And Spags has proven he can coach up players to the next level.

Very true, and I like the Jimmy Johnson connection.

Darn, Jason Jones signed with the Seasquaks a 1-year deal. That's the one DT I would've really wanted to see sign with the Saints, it'll be interesting to see how much he got in salary.

All I know is I remember seeing pictures of a certain player on our D line right now when he got here and he looked like a HOUSE. Sadly..it hasn't translated to being a stud he looks to be. I'm leery with this dude.

If you are referring to Rogers then you have to remember that he was brought in by GW who liked to have a big anchor type of a NT in his system, but Spags doesn't really have that same preference, IMO - he likes guys with mobility and versatility.

And Bunkley might just fit that bill.
