Metarie lawmaker trying to help New Orleans Saints and the fans
A local representative from Metarie is at the State Capital in Baton Rouge trying to pass a resolution that would get the NFL to reconsider the suspensions recently handed out to the New Orleans Saints.
Representative Cameron Henry is attempting to pass House Resolution 50 with the Senate in order to get the NFL or more specifially Roger Goodell, to possibly change the penalties handed out just recently. The resolution drafted by the local lawmaker contains some of the following points according to HomuaToday.com: “The New Orleans Saints have produced countless exciting and magical moments.” “The taxpayers of Louisiana have invested millions of dollars into the success of the Saints organization by supporting stadium improvements, practice facilities, and other incentives.” “The sanctions faced by the team will likely have a negative economic impact across the Crescent City and the state as a whole.” Payton is the “first coach ever suspended by the NFL for any reason.” Metarie lawmaker trying to help New Orleans Saints and the fans |
