Most of what was said was nothing more than metaphorical speech. Mentioning specific players and injuries isn't right but anyone who watched that game could clearly see our defense didn't do anything to try to injure their players. I think this reflects way more on Williams than our players. Our defense was an absolute joke that game and I'm glad Williams is gone and Spags is here bringing in new players that will hopefully better compliment our offense.

I think that we've all suffered enough because of that game and shouldn't have to hear another word about it. Ever.
|
Sadly will will hear about this for a long time, to come. Willams is nuts.

The only way to make this better is to win. I care less about this scandal now. It happend they are being punished for it...time to move on get better and try to win another SB and show the world that regardless of how they look at our team THEY STILL WIN.

I'm sorry...can someone please refresh my memory how many players we injured in that game. There were SO MANY, a girl can't keep track. Gosh, we really put a hurting on them, didn't we?

I agree completely. Williams did some very good things with the Saints but he was so obsessed with blitzing the opposing teams saw it a mile away. We should not have lost that game. It was an atrocious effort on Gregg Williams' part.

The big deal is that Williams didn't use more discretion. It glaringly apparent that this happens at almost every level of football but this is all about a sanctimonious ruler that fears the upcoming lawsuits from players that didn't know about the effects of the physical sport in which they play. Make this go away.:brood: |
Wow! This Sean Pamphilon guy is actually saying that Gregg Williams WAS ordered to stop what he was doing and he ignored the order.
