Kellye, send me that "bounty" image, will ya?
BIG BIG BIG BIG BIG BIG BIG thanks to a lot of you for making our party all that. Hou-Yat, for enduring your casualties, finger laceration, destructed tent, to make a bunch of outstanding mudbugs. And our lovely housewarming gifts from you & Karen. Buds, for also the outstanding boiling on the bugs/ and for bringing Veronica & BIG BUBBA! KajunKookin, also outstanding help... brought EXTRA crawfish, boudin balls, Connie! Rebecca, and for keeping us entertained with some fun bs. Gulfgambler, for your HUGE HELP and support!!!! For bringing Jana, and all her sweetness, and I didnt catch your big puppy's name, (but loved his Saints gear) Couldnt have dont this w/ o you! RaginCajun83 for still being my friend, even though I placed your tent next to the gulley, for bringing Tiffany, and all kinds of friends & family, and the outrageous good king cake. Smashmouth & Pamela: great cake, good to meet a Gambino, and lots of credit for helping begin the Hou-Dat Mudbugs tradition. This idea, I still think, came from you. Dr. WhoDAt--- bringing all your fun friends, and mostly, YOURSELF, who I love. SuperDome-- & Edvina...and your spiritual leadership.... need to spend a bunch more time with you's. & Halo--- we love Elizabeth, btw. Cant believe you drove all the way from N.O., just to visit our poor selves. You have a career in standup any time you feel like it. loved the watermelon!!!! Im a little tired, but we had a great time. I'll do some pictures after a nap. |

Yeah, thanks Mike....Buds was there on the spot with a bandaid for me, and the duct tape really helped stop the bleeding (you can fix anything with duct tape!). I need to thank KajunKookin for the surgical glove (don't know where that came from) so that I could eat crawfish without getting all that seasoning on an open cut. This is a group that is really prepared for ANYTHING! I have a few pictures too, but haven't had a chance to get to them yet.

Mike, Kevin (keepoursaints) made this for me...isn't it great???
I'll send it via facebook, too. Thanks again for a great party. If you don't recognize a small bowl left in your fridge, it's the leftover cream cheese/caramel/toffee bits dip we made. In the absence of granny smith apples, I've been known to eat it straight with a spoon, LOL. See you soon!! |
