I thought there had to be some sort of statute-of-limitations on any criminal charges being brought ... this is all just too much, what ever happened to waiting until you have some facts before you try 'scooping' a story?

There is, it is 5 years (I think). I read that if there was an attempt to cover this up in 2007 or later, it would fall within that time period and criminal charges could be brought

Hate to say it but as everyone knows, I am a die-hard Saints fan....
but with all the off-season BS going on I'm going to have a hard time picking them to win more than 6 or 7 games this year... especially without our coach. I believe this is the single most depressing off-season I've witnesses in the 35 years or so I've followed the team with intensity, pretty much since I started paying close attention when I was a child. |

Welcome to the old world of the Detroit Lions lol. Like I said, I feel bad for you fans and for the players of whom had no idea/involvement in any of this (including the bounty thing)

Whether any of these allegations are true or not, we have no way to argue or fight back. We get zero information from the league, no one can tell what will happen next, and it's just a mess. |

I'm still picking New Orleans to win the NFC South ... and yeah, all this offseason drama is having a negative affect on how I'm viewing the entire NFL right now ... it is depressing ... but it's always darkest before the dawn ... this too will pass.

Detroit had the agonizing torture of having to deal with Matt Millen and his off-season habits for WAY TOO LONG. Millen was famous for bone-headed offseason B.S. When I saw Millen make it to the NFL network as an "expert" and also on NBC, I really scratched my head--- he's a total idiot. So I guess I know what it felt like for Detroiters to be on the open seas on a ship WITH NO NAME... and no one truly at the helm. So yeah, I'm kinda getting that "Matt Millen Off-Season" kind of a feeling. |
