The Saints were actually four mill under cap this was including Drew Brees current 14.5 figure and restructurings of Smith, Vilma, Greer( Before the resignings of Kasay, and Cassillas!!!) It's possible to get up under the cap enough in order to get Osi in. Release Shanle!!!!

I wound not do this. PT is the most underrated RB's in the NFL, and our best RB. Trading Shanle would release 2,950,000 cap space, more than PT. Not a bad move, hadn't really thought of this. We are LB heavy at the moment.
